Bitumen Automatic Compactor

The Bitumen Automatic Compactor is used to compact bituminous mix specimens for Marshall or other mix design testing by delivering a specified number of standard compaction blows automatically, replacing the manual Marshall hammer. A heated bituminous mix sample is placed in a compaction mould, and the machine's electrically driven hammer mechanism applies uniform, repeatable blows from a fixed drop height, ensuring consistent specimen density and eliminating operator-to-operator variability.

The drive mechanism lifts weight of 4.5 kg and drops it through a height of 457 mm. The rammer foot is removable, which facilitates preheat A compaction pedestal with specimen holder is fixed the base. An automatic blow counter enables the num of blows to be preset before each test and automatic stops the machine on completion. Suitable for operation on 230 V, 50 Hz, single phase, AC supply
