V-Funnel
The V-Funnel is used to assess the flowability and filling ability of self-compacting concrete (SCC) by measuring the time taken for a fixed volume of fresh concrete to flow out through a V-shaped funnel under its own weight. Fresh SCC is filled into the funnel, and the trap door at the bottom is opened; the flow time (V-funnel time) is recorded and used as an indicator of the mix's viscosity and passing ability.
