Capping Set — Vertical (150 mm / 100 mm)
The Capping Set is used to prepare smooth, flat, and parallel end surfaces on concrete cylinder specimens prior to compressive strength testing, ensuring uniform load distribution and accurate test results. The vertical capping set holds the cylinder specimen upright while a capping compound (such as sulphur mortar) is applied and levelled at each end using the alignment guides in the set, available to suit 100 mm and 150 mm diameter cylinders.
