Shrinkage Bar Mould
The Shrinkage Bar Mould is used to cast standard-sized mortar or paste specimens for measuring drying shrinkage — the reduction in volume/length of cement mortar as it dries and cures over time. The mould is typically a rigid metal frame with fixed gauge studs at each end, into which the cement mortar mix is cast to form a bar specimen. After demoulding and curing, the specimen's length is measured periodically using a length comparator to determine the shrinkage over time, which is important for assessing cracking tendency and durability of cement-based products.
Shrinkage Bar Mould Single, Two & Four Compartments.
